Frequently Asked Questions

What are the best FPL tips this gameweek?
The six guides below cover the core decisions every Fantasy Premier League manager faces each week: who to captain, which low-owned differentials could gain rank, which budget players free up funds, which premiums earn their price, the best value picks by points per million, and who's in the hottest recent form. Every table is rebuilt from live FPL data, not written once and left to go stale.
How often are these FPL tips updated?
Daily. The captain picks, differentials and form-based tables are recalculated from the live FPL API every time the site rebuilds, so ownership percentages, prices and form ratings reflect the current gameweek rather than a snapshot from earlier in the season.
Are FPL Dave's tips free?
Yes, all six strategy guides here are completely free with no sign-in required. FPL Dave's full toolset - the Poisson-based Expected Points engine, AI Coach, and multi-gameweek Transfer Planner - is also free to use.
How is this different from generic FPL advice?
Every recommendation here is computed from real, current-season data (form, price, ownership, fixture difficulty) rather than general rules of thumb. The captain picks and differentials tables in particular pull from the same underlying data as FPL Dave's live Expected Points model.
